Accessibility statement

This statement covers lumihr.co.uk: the marketing pages, the research papers, the how-to guides, the policy template and the legal documents. It does not yet cover the member platform you reach by signing in, which we have not yet assessed against the same standard.

The standard we work to

We aim for the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What you should be able to do

• Use every page with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus ring on every link, button and form field, and a "Skip to content" link first on each page.
• Zoom the text to 200% and use the site on a phone, with nothing cut off or overlapping.
• Read every chart in words: each one has a text description, and the table under it carries every figure.
• Scroll the wider tables with the keyboard as well as by touch.
• Turn off movement: with "reduce motion" set on your device, the animations stop and the homepage video does not play on its own.

How we tested

On 10 October 2026 we tested every page in the site's sitemaps with axe-core, an automated checker, at desktop and phone widths, and fixed what it found. We also checked the menus, the first-visit card, the slide viewer and the resource filters with a keyboard.

What we know is not yet right

• We have not yet tested the site with a screen reader by hand. Automated checks catch many problems but not all of them.
• The PDFs you can download, including the legal documents and the sample summary, have not yet been checked for accessibility. Every one of them has an HTML version on the site.
• On a phone, some wide tables in the research papers scroll sideways.
